Animositisomina
Animositisomina is the eighth studio album by the American industrial metal band Ministry, released on 18 February 2003. It arrived on Silverline, with Sanctuary Records also credited as the release's label, and it sits between Dark Side of the Spoon, from 1999, and Houses of the Molé, which followed in 2004.
For anyone who came to Ministry through the heavier, more machine-driven records of the late 1980s and early 1990s, this is the point where the band's story moves into a new decade. The album sits firmly in the territory of electronic, industrial and industrial metal, so expect the genre blend that defines the group. It is worth hearing as a snapshot of Ministry in the early 2000s, and as the record that led straight into the run of albums that came next.
