Favourite Pleasures
Favourite Pleasures is the eighth studio album from GUN, released on 15 September 2017 through Caroline International. It followed Frantic from 2015, and it sits in the middle of the band's long run of records that began with Taking On the World in 1989 and has continued through to Hombres in 2024.
Across that run, the band's catalogue takes in Gallus, Swagger and the oddly titled 0141 632 6326, so this record arrives well into a career that has spanned several decades. Anyone who knows GUN from their early albums and wants to hear where the band stood in the late 2010s will find Favourite Pleasures a natural place to pick up the story, just before The Calton Songs appeared in 2022.
