Power of the Damn MiXXXer
Power of the Damn MiXXXer is a remix album by the American metal band Prong, released on 12 May 2009 through 13th Planet Records. It reworks every track from Power of the Damager, the band's 2007 studio album, so the record follows the original running order rather than picking and choosing.
It arrives in a long career that began with Force Fed in 1988 and has carried on through to Prong in 2026. This one sits between Power of the Damager and Carved Into Stone in 2012, and it is a good one for listeners curious to hear how a heavy, groove-driven band sounds when others take the songs apart and rebuild them. Hear the originals first, then come here for the contrast.
