Scorpio Rising is the sixth studio album by the American metal band Prong, released in November 2003 on Locomotive Music. It arrived after a seven-year gap following 1996's Rude Awakening, so it marks a return after a long stretch away from the studio, and it sits between that record and 2007's Power of the Damager in the band's catalogue.

One track has an interesting backstory. "Embrace the Depth" first surfaced on the 2002 live album 100% Live, where it went by the title "Initiation", and it was co-written by Pat Lachman. For fans who want to follow how Prong picked up the thread after the late-1990s quiet, this is the record to hear, and that earlier live version offers a neat glimpse of the song before it was reworked.
