Beg to Differ is Prong's second studio album, released on 12 March 1990 through Epic. It sits between Force Fed and Prove You Wrong, and it was the last of the three studio records to feature founding bassist Mike Kirkland. The band's sound here mixes thrash, crossover and groove metal, and Brian "Pushead" Schroeder designed the sleeve and cover artwork.

For anyone who watched MTV's Headbangers Ball in the early 1990s, parts of it may ring a bell: a section of "Lost and Found" was used for the commercial breaks, and the video for the title track turned up on the show from time to time. There is also a live cut, a cover of Chrome's "Third from the Sun", recorded at CBGB's in New York City in 1989, which gives a taste of the band on stage amid the studio material.
