EP
Despicable
Despicable is an EP by Carcass, the British extreme metal band, released through Nuclear Blast on 30 October 2020. It sits in the band's later chapter, arriving after the 2013 album Surgical Steel and ahead of the full-length Torn Arteries in 2021.
For listeners who followed Carcass from the grindcore-rooted Reek of Putrefaction through Necroticism: Descanting the Insalubrious and Heartwork, it offers a stop-gap between two modern albums, rooted in the death metal and melodic death metal styles the band is known for.
