Feedback
Feedback is a Rush EP of eight cover versions, released on 29 June 2004 on Atlantic. The songs were all chosen from the 1960s, the music that had shaped the band members when they were starting out. It arrived thirty years after the band's debut album, which featured the original line-up of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and John Rutsey, and thirty years after Neil Peart joined following Rutsey's departure.
It sits between Vapor Trails (2002) and Snakes & Arrows (2007), and it works as a nod to where the trio began. The anniversary was marked with the R30: 30th Anniversary Tour. The EP was remastered and reissued in 2013 within the box set The Studio Albums 1989–2007, and again in 2016, when Sean Magee remastered it at Abbey Road Studios as part of the band's wider back-catalogue project.
