Familiar to Millions
Familiar to Millions is the live album Oasis released on 13 November 2000, recorded at Wembley Stadium on 21 July that year. It came out in the UK and Europe on that date, with a US release following on 21 November, and it was issued across six formats at once: DVD, VHS, double CD, double cassette, triple vinyl and double MiniDisc.
It arrived soon after Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, the band's fourth studio album, and it captures them at a huge home-city show rather than in the studio. It entered the UK chart at No. 5, selling 57,000 copies in its first week, and has since gone Platinum in Britain. For anyone who loved the band's records in the 1990s, it is a chance to hear those songs played to a stadium crowd.
