Live by the Sea
Live by the Sea is a concert video from Oasis, issued on VHS, VCD and later DVD. It captures the band's show at the Southend Cliffs Pavilion on 17 April 1995, with the promo videos for "Rock 'n' Roll Star" and "Cigarettes & Alcohol" added as extras. The title is a pun on a line from "(It's Good) To Be Free".
The gig comes from the stretch between Definitely Maybe, released in 1994, and (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, which followed later in 1995. It makes a handy snapshot of the band at that point in their story. Released through Picture Music International, it is released in August 1995.
