Christmas In Tahoe
Christmas in Tahoe is Train's eighth studio album and their first collection of festive songs. It arrived between Bulletproof Picasso and Train Does Led Zeppelin II, and it pairs twelve traditional carols and seasonal standards with three originals written by the band. Released in 2015 on Sunken Forest Records, it was initially sold digitally only through Amazon, while the CD went to most retailers.
The record has had a long afterlife. Other digital retailers picked it up in 2017, alongside a deluxe CD, and in 2021 the Hallmark Channel aired a film of the same name based on the album, with singer Pat Monahan co-starring and serving as executive producer. A 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition followed in November 2025, adding three new originals and the song "Mittens" from the film. A good pick for fans who like their Christmas records with a rock band's stamp on them.
