Album
Bulletproof Picasso
Bulletproof Picasso is the seventh studio album by the American rock band Train, released on 12 September 2014 by Columbia. In the United States it followed on 16 September. It came out on CD, vinyl and as a digital download, and it sits between California 37 from 2012 and the Christmas In Tahoe set of 2015.
It marks a change in the band's make-up. Drew Shoals plays drums for the first time, taking over from founding member Scott Underwood, who had left before recording began. It is also Train's first album since For Me, It's You in 2006 to feature a full band line-up. The production credits are shared among Azeem, Espionage, Greg Kurstin, Jake Sinclair, Butch Walker and Whams, which makes for a varied pop rock record that is worth hearing for how it shows the band settling into a new shape.
