My Private Nation
My Private Nation is the third studio album by American pop rock band Train, released on 3 June 2003. It followed Drops of Jupiter from 2001 and carried the band's alternative rock and pop sound into a new record, one that went on to earn Platinum certification in the US.
It also marks the end of a chapter for the group, as the last Train album to feature bassist Charlie Colin and rhythm guitarist Rob Hotchkiss, both of whom left in 2003. A reissue followed on 8 February 2005 as a CD and DVD dual disc set. For anyone tracing the band's path from their early records to the later ones, this is the final album from that earlier line-up, and a useful point to hear where they stood before the changes.
