Born Into This
Born Into This is The Cult's eighth studio album, released on 29 September 2007 through Roadrunner Records. It is a hard rock record, and it arrived in the band's catalogue after Beyond Good and Evil in 2001, which had ended a gap that followed their self-titled album of 1994.
Release dates differed from country to country. The United States, Canada, South Africa and Sweden got it on 2 October, while Hungary, Denmark, Spain and France had it a day earlier and Finland a day later. It sits between that 2001 comeback and Choice of Weapon in 2012, so it is the record to reach for if you want to hear where the band stood in the middle of their later run.
