The Final Sign of Evil is the twelfth studio album by the German thrash metal band Sodom, released in September 2007 through Союз. It sits between their self-titled album of 2006 and In War and Pieces, which followed in 2010.

The record has an unusual backstory. It reworks songs from In the Sign of Evil, and adds seven tracks that were written for that release but never recorded, because the label could not pay for studio time. In the Sign of Evil therefore came out as an EP built around the original versions of the songs, rather than the full-length album it was meant to be. This record finally gives those ideas the larger treatment. It's worth hearing for anyone curious how Sodom's early material sounds when revisited by the band decades later.
