Ausgebombt
Ausgebombt is a thrash metal EP by Sodom, released in 1989 on Steamhammer. It takes its title track from the band's third studio album, Agent Orange, where the song appeared with German lyrics on this separate release.
It sits at an interesting point in the Sodom story. Agent Orange was the record that brought the band their commercial breakthrough, entering the German album charts at number 36 and selling 100,000 copies in Germany alone. It was also the last album with guitarist Frank Blackfire until his return in 2018, after he left to join Kreator. For anyone who knows the parent album's Vietnam War themes, the EP offers a chance to hear one of its songs in the band's native language.
