Code Red
Code Red is the ninth studio album by the German thrash metal band Sodom, released on 31 May 1999. It followed 'Til Death Do Us Unite from 1997 and came before M-16 in 2001. Here the band returned to classic thrash metal, a move that pleased many of their fans.
The record appeared in a few different forms. One limited edition was a two-disc set that paired it with Homage to the Gods, a Sodom tribute album. Another two-disc edition came with Ich glaub' nicht an den Weihnachtsmann, an album by Onkel Tom Angelripper. For anyone tracing Sodom's late-nineties output, it is the point where they went back to their thrash roots.
