Sweet Soul Sister / Live 1987-1989
Sweet Soul Sister / Live 1987-1989 is an EP by The Cult, released in 1991 on Beggars Banquet for the UK and Europe. As the title suggests, it gathers live recordings from the period spanning the band's albums Electric and Sonic Temple.
It arrived in the same year as Ceremony, the band's fifth studio album, and sits between the hard-rock sound of the late 1980s and the changes that followed. For fans who want a live snapshot of that stretch of the band's story, it is a handy companion piece.
