Dreamtime: Live at the Lyceum
Dreamtime: Live at the Lyceum is a live album by The Cult, released in 1985 on NEXUS. It sits in the early part of the British band's story, which began in 1983 and produced a debut studio album, Dreamtime, the following year.
The record falls in the alternative rock and gothic rock territory the group worked in at that stage. It arrived in the same year as their second studio album, Love, so it catches the band in a busy and formative moment, well before the run of albums that took them through to Under the Midnight Sun in 2022. For anyone who knows The Cult from their later records, it offers a look at where it all began.
