Vagabonds of the Western World is the third studio album by Irish hard rock band Thin Lizzy, released on 21 September 1973 on London Records. It follows their self-titled debut and Shades of a Blue Orphanage, and sits at a turning point in the band's story: it was the last record made with original guitarist Eric Bell, and the last to feature Thin Lizzy as a trio.

It also marks the start of a lasting partnership with the artist Jim Fitzpatrick, whose artwork on the sleeve was the first of many designs he would produce for the band's records. For anyone tracing how Thin Lizzy grew from their early blues-tinged rock towards the harder sound of the albums that followed, this is the place where one chapter closes and the next is about to begin.
