The Best of King Diamond is a compilation released on 23 September 2003 through Roadrunner Records. It gathers material from the heavy metal band led by the singer of the same name, and it arrived in the same year as The Puppet Master, the band's eleventh studio album.

For anyone new to the band, it sits alongside a run of studio records that began with Fatal Portrait in 1986 and continued through Abigail, "Them", Conspiracy, The Eye, The Spider's Lullabye, The Graveyard, Voodoo, House of God and Abigail II: The Revenge. A compilation like this gives a way into that long catalogue, and a handy reference point for longtime listeners who want the band's heavy metal in one place.
