Album
Abigail
Abigail is the second album by Danish heavy metal band King Diamond, and their first concept album, with a single story running through the songs. It came out on 29 May 1987 through Roadrunner Records, following Fatal Portrait from the year before.
It also marks the end of an era for the group, as the last record to feature guitarist Michael Denner and bassist Timi Hansen. Later reissues include a 1997 edition with four bonus tracks and a 25th anniversary edition in 2005 with a bonus DVD. A sequel, Abigail II: The Revenge, followed in 2002, so anyone who enjoys the story has more to explore.
