All Hell Breaks Loose is the sixth studio album by the German thrash metal band Destruction, released in April 2000 on Nuclear Blast. It also arrived with a cover of Metallica's "Whiplash", a fitting nod from a band rooted in the same fast, aggressive tradition.

The record marks a real turning point in the band's story. It was their first official album since Cracked Brain, and it brought Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer back on vocals and bass for the first time since Release from Agony in 1987. Destruction were also a three-piece again. If you know their 1980s records and lost track of them along the way, this is the one that picks the thread back up, and it opened the run of albums that followed, beginning with The Antichrist in 2001.
