Thrash Anthems II
Thrash Anthems II is a 2017 album from the German thrash band Destruction, released on 10 November 2017 through Pledge Music. It follows Thrash Anthems, which came out in 2007, and the title suggests a return to the same idea a decade later.
In the band's catalogue it sits between Under Attack, released in 2016, and Born to Perish, which arrived in 2019. Destruction had been making records since Infernal Overkill in 1985, so this one comes from a group with more than three decades behind it. For listeners who know the band from the 1980s albums such as Eternal Devastation and Release From Agony, it offers a way to hear Destruction looking back over their own work.
