Destruction
Destruction is an EP from the German thrash metal band Destruction, released on 26 February 1994 through Brain Butcher Compact. It was the first record Mike Sifringer financed himself on the Brain Butcher label, and it came after vocalist Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer had left the band.
The release opens what is often called the "Neo-Destruction" period, and it is the first of three records from that stretch. For anyone tracing the band's story, it marks a distinct chapter between the 1989 album Cracked Brain and the 1998 album The Least Successful Human Cannonball, and it shows the group carrying on under Sifringer's direction.
