Big Ones
Big Ones is an Aerosmith compilation on Geffen, released on 1 November 1994. It gathers twelve hits from the three multi-platinum albums that made up the band's late-1980s and early-1990s comeback: Permanent Vacation, Pump and Get a Grip. It also includes "Deuces Are Wild", which first appeared on The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience in 1993.
The two new tracks, "Blind Man" and "Walk on Water", were recorded during a break in the Get a Grip Tour, so the record works as a snapshot of a band still very much in motion. It reached number 6 on the Billboard chart, sold four million copies in the United States and entered the Top 10 in nine countries before the year was out. For anyone wanting that run of hard rock, blues rock and polished arena rock in one sitting, it does the job neatly.
