Fear Is the Mindkiller
Fear Is the Mindkiller is the first EP from American industrial metal band Fear Factory. It came out on 14 April 1993 through Roadrunner Records, and it is made up of remixes of songs from their debut album, Soul of a New Machine.
It sits between that debut and the band's 1995 album Demanufacture, and shows them leaning into the electronic side of a sound that already mixed death metal, thrash and industrial. For fans who know the original album tracks, it is a chance to hear them reworked and pushed further towards the machine-driven end of the band's identity.
