Messiah is a compilation from the American industrial metal band Fear Factory, released by Roadrunner Records in 1999. It also serves as the soundtrack to the video game Messiah, which came out in 2000, so it works as a handy way into the band's heavier, machine-driven side.
The tracklist draws mostly on Demanufacture, with six songs from that record, alongside one from their debut, Soul of a New Machine, and two from Remanufacture. A bonus track from Obsolete rounds things off. It sits between Obsolete and Digimortal in the band's story, and it suits anyone who wants a compact tour of their mid-90s output without tackling every album in full.
