The Gabber Mixes
The Gabber Mixes is a remix EP by the American industrial metal band Fear Factory, released in 1997 through Mokum Records.
It arrived between Demanufacture (1995) and Obsolete (1998), a stretch in which the band also put out Remanufacture (Cloning Technology), another remix project that drew in techno-oriented artists as well as the band themselves. The EP follows that same impulse to let the band's heavy, mechanical sound be rebuilt by dance-minded hands. It is one for listeners curious about how Fear Factory's industrial metal sat alongside electronic music in the late 1990s.
