Live at the Brixton Academy
Live at the Brixton Academy captures Faith No More on 28 April 1990 in London, during the tour for their third studio album, The Real Thing. It is the only live album the band have officially released, and it first appeared as a video titled You Fat Bastards, a nod to an English football chant the crowd sang that night.
The audio version, issued in the UK in February 1991, added "The Grade" and "The Cowboy Song", two tracks from the Real Thing sessions that had previously been on the "From Out of Nowhere" 12-inch single. They were included so that they could be had on CD, so the vinyl pressing leaves them off. The band's take on Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" later turned up on the 1994 tribute compilation Nativity in Black. It is a useful snapshot of the group between The Real Thing and Angel Dust.
