Shitfun

Shitfun is the fourth studio album by Autopsy, the death metal band behind Severed Survival, Mental Funeral and Acts of the Unspeakable. It came out on Peaceville on 12 September 1995, with a UK and European release dated 3 July 1995.

The record is the last Autopsy album of the 1990s era, and a long gap follows it: the band's next studio album, Macabre Eternal, did not arrive until 2011. That makes Shitfun a useful marker for anyone tracing the group's story, sitting at the close of their first run before the later revival. It was reissued in 2003 with ten bonus live tracks, which is worth knowing about if you want some concert material alongside the original album.
