Mythmaker

Mythmaker is the tenth studio album by Skinny Puppy, the Canadian electro-industrial band. It came out on 30 January 2007 on Synthetic Symphony, following The Greater Wrong of the Right in 2004 and arriving a few years before HanDover in 2011. Lead vocalist Nivek Ogre described the approach as simplified, though he also said the record was a difficult one to make.

Reviews were mostly positive, with critics largely weighing up how closely it echoed the band's earlier albums. It charted on several Billboard charts, and tracks from it turned up in the soundtrack to Saw V and in the Jackass video game. The band took the music out on the Mythrus Tour later that same year, making this a useful stop for anyone tracing how Skinny Puppy sounded in the mid-2000s.
