12 Inch Anthology
Twelve Inch Anthology is a compilation from the electronic and industrial band Skinny Puppy, released on Nettwerk in 1989. It gathers most of their early singles and B-sides in one place, so it works as a handy way into the band's first years on twelve-inch vinyl, when they were making their name.
The sleeve is a collage of earlier cover designs by Steven R Gilmore, a nice touch for a collection that looks back over the band's earlier artwork as well as its music. The CD is now out of print, though it can still be downloaded. A second B-side collection, B-Sides Collect, followed in 1999 and complements the material here, with the exception of "Serpents".
