Reborn in Defiance
Reborn in Defiance is the ninth studio album by Biohazard, the American hardcore punk band, released on 20 January 2012 through Nuclear Blast. It came out worldwide except for North America, and a free digital edition planned for American fans on the same day was cancelled at the last moment. The record is filed under crossover.
Its place in the band's story is what makes it interesting. Guitarist Bobby Hambel returned in 2008, so this was the first Biohazard album since State of the World Address in 1994 to feature the original recording line-up. It arrived after Means to an End in 2005. Founding vocalist and bassist Evan Seinfeld left in June 2011, soon after the recording was finished, though he rejoined in October 2014. For anyone following the band's long run, it captures a particular line-up at a turning point.
