Raw
Raw is a Sex Pistols compilation released on 20 May 1997 on the Music Club label. It appeared the year after the original line-up of Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock reunited for a successful tour, so it arrived while the band were back in the public eye.
For anyone coming to the band beyond their sole studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols (1977), a UK number one, this is a punk collection from a group whose first run lasted only two and a half years. That short career left a lasting mark on British punk, its fashion and the independent scene that followed.
