Early Daze: The Studio Collection
Early Daze: The Studio Collection is a compilation from the Sex Pistols, released in 1993 on Dojo Records. It gathers studio material from the British punk band, whose run of recordings with original singer Johnny Rotten was brief: four singles and one studio album, issued between November 1976 and November 1977.
It sits among the many repackagings that followed that short burst of activity, and it's a handy way into the band's studio work for anyone who wants it on a single release. Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols remains the album at the heart of their story, so this collection makes most sense as a companion to it rather than a replacement.
