Archangel
Archangel is the tenth studio album by Soulfly, the American heavy metal band, and it arrived on 14 August 2015 through Nuclear Blast. It followed Savages from 2013 and came before Ritual in 2018. The record is filed under groove metal, and at thirty-six and a half minutes it is the band's second shortest.
It also marks the end of a chapter in the line-up, as it is the last Soulfly album to feature bassist Tony Campos, who left shortly after recording to join Fear Factory. On the Billboard 200 it reached number 130. For anyone following the band's run of albums, it is a compact, quick-moving entry that captures that rhythm section before it changed.
