Live & Rare
Live & Rare is a live EP from My Chemical Romance, released on 19 December 2007 through Reprise Records. It arrived a little over a year after The Black Parade, the band's third studio album, which had debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and given them their only UK number one with "Welcome to the Black Parade".
For anyone who followed the band through the mid-2000s, it sits between that record and the more colourful Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, which came in 2010. It is a small piece of the band's catalogue, one of five EPs in a discography that also takes in two live albums, and it suits listeners who want the alternative rock of that era in a rawer setting than the studio albums offer.
