The Black Parade: The B‐Sides
The Black Parade: The B-Sides is an EP from My Chemical Romance, released in 2009 on Reprise Records. It gathers extra material from the era of The Black Parade, the band's third studio album, and sits in the gap between that record and the follow-up, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, which arrived in 2010.
The parent album is the one to know. Released in October 2006, it reached number two on the Billboard 200, and its lead single, "Welcome to the Black Parade", gave the band their only UK number one. For fans who lived with that record, this EP is a chance to stay a little longer in its world, hearing rock and alternative rock from a group at the peak of its reach.
