Corrosion of Conformity
Corrosion of Conformity's self-titled eighth studio album came out on 28 February 2012. It arrived seven years after In the Arms of God (2005), which was the longest wait between studio records in the band's history up to that point. The label listed is Back on Black.
It also marks a change in the line-up. Reed Mullin was back behind the drums for the first time since America's Volume Dealer in 2000, while Pepper Keenan was absent on vocals and guitar, something that hadn't happened on an album since Technocracy in 1987. For anyone who followed the band through the Deliverance and Wiseblood years, that makes this a record worth hearing to see where the group went next. IX followed in 2014.
