B‐Side Ourselves
B-Side Ourselves is a covers EP from Skid Row, released on 22 September 1992 through Atlantic. It gathers songs by artists who shaped the band's sound, and most of them had already turned up as B-sides on the group's singles. "Psycho Therapy" and "Delivering the Goods" came with the 1992 re-release of "Youth Gone Wild", "C'mon and Love Me" appeared on both "Slave to the Grind" and "In a Darkened Room", and "What You're Doing" was tucked away on "Wasted Time".
It arrived after the band's self-titled debut of 1989 and Slave to the Grind in 1991, and it works as a handy tidy-up of those scattered extras. The closing take on "Little Wing" is the only track that hadn't been heard before, so it's the one to seek out first. The EP reached number 58 on the Billboard 200, and it offers a good look at the records and bands behind Skid Row's hard rock and heavy metal.
