Wardour Street
Wardour Street is the thirteenth studio album by the English rock band the Quireboys, released on 25 October 2024 through Cadiz Music. It takes its name from the Soho street in London, long associated with music venues and with the story of British rock.
It follows Amazing Disgrace from 2019 and continues a discography that stretches back to their debut, A Bit of What You Fancy, in 1990. Through the 2000s and 2010s the band kept up a steady run of records, from This Is Rock 'n' Roll in 2001 to White Trash Blues in 2017. For anyone who has followed them since the early days, this one is a nod to the London scene that shaped their sound.
