Projects in the Jungle is Pantera's second studio album, released on 27 July 1984 through Metal Magic Records. It followed Metal Magic the year before and came well before the band's later, heavier reinvention, sitting in the early glam-leaning phase of their story, with Glaze handling the vocals.

The sound is a mix of influences. Glaze's singing and the album's overall feel have a good deal in common with Def Leppard in the years before Hysteria, with Pyromania having arrived the year before. There is some Judas Priest in there too, Van Halen-style guitar solos, and a surprising number of speed metal-leaning riffs. The track "All Over Tonight" became the band's first music video. For anyone curious about where Pantera began, it makes for a fascinating listen.
