Hostile Moments
Hostile Moments is an EP from the American heavy metal band Pantera, released in 1994 on ATCO Records. It came out on 12" vinyl only, which makes it something of a curiosity for collectors rather than a standard part of the band's run of studio albums.
It appeared in the same year as Far Beyond Driven, the record that followed Vulgar Display of Power from 1992 and preceded The Great Southern Trendkill in 1996. That places it in the middle of the group's most celebrated stretch, after the breakthrough of Cowboys From Hell in 1990. For anyone tracking Pantera's vinyl releases from that period, it is a piece worth knowing about.
