My Body, the Hand Grenade is a compilation from American alternative rock band Hole, released on 28 October 1997 through their European label, City Slang. It gathers unreleased tracks, B-sides and singles, along with recordings taken from live performances and material from the band's first session in March 1990. The aim was to trace their shift from noise rock beginnings to the more melodic songwriting of Live Through This, from 1994.

Because the tracks come from different periods, a range of past line-ups appears, including drummers Caroline Rue and Patty Schemel and bassists Jill Emery and Kristen Pfaff. Courtney Love plays bass on one song, and the album is dedicated to Pfaff's memory. Eric Erlandson handled most of the production and mixing, while Love designed the artwork, which draws on Marie Antoinette, Anne Boleyn and Jayne Mansfield. Critics found strong individual tracks, though not much cohesion.
