Minotaur is a box set gathering the first five studio releases by Pixies, the records that made up their original run. It came out on 24 November 2009 through Artists in Residence, and it treats those albums to a proper presentation rather than a simple repackaging.

The Deluxe Edition puts the music on gold-plated 24k layered CDs, alongside a Blu-ray and a DVD featuring a 1991 show at Brixton Academy and every Pixies music video. A 54-page book completes it. The Limited Edition comes in a custom clamshell with the albums on 180-gram vinyl, a Giclée print and a 72-page hardcover book. The new artwork is by Vaughan Oliver, the band's original designer, with photography by Simon Larbalestier, which gives the set a strong link to the look of the early records. It suits anyone wanting the classic run in one lavish package.
