The Peel Sessions 1988–90
Bolt Thrower's The Peel Sessions 1988–90 gathers three radio sessions recorded live in the studio for John Peel's programme, with Dale Griffin producing. It came out on 26 October 1991, the same year as the band's third studio album, War Master.
The recordings catch the death metal group in the period between their debut, In Battle There Is No Law!, and the arrival of Realm of Chaos, so they offer a snapshot of the band at work in those early years. For anyone who knows the studio albums, it is a chance to hear the material played live in the room.
