3 Colours Red were an English rock band formed in London in 1994, and they were active from 1995 until 2005. Their name came from a pin stuck randomly into a Time Out listings magazine, which landed on an advertisement for the final part of Krzysztof Kieślowski's Three Colours trilogy. They rose to their biggest chart success at the end of the 1990s, alongside British contemporaries such as Ash, Stereophonics and Feeder.

Their studio albums were Pure in 1997, Revolt in 1999 and The Union of Souls in 2004. Two of them reached the UK Top 20, and the band collected six Top 40 singles along the way. If you enjoy the guitar-driven British rock of Ash, Terrorvision, Therapy? or Reef, Pure and Revolt are the natural places to begin.
