God of Thunder
God of Thunder is a 1989 EP from White Zombie, released through Caroline Records. It was the first record to feature Jay Yuenger on guitar, so it marks a change in the band's line-up at a point when they were working in heavy metal and groove metal territory.
The title track is a cover of Kiss's "God of Thunder", which first appeared on their 1976 album Destroyer. Alongside it sits "Disaster Blaster II", a reworked take on "Disaster Blaster" from the band's 1989 album Make Them Die Slowly. It's a short release, but a handy one for hearing how the group treated a Kiss favourite and revisited their own material, just before La Sexorcisto arrived in 1992.
