Psycho‐Head Blowout

Psycho-Head Blowout is the third EP from White Zombie, the American band's noisy, rock-leaning release from 1987. It was put out by Silent Explosion Records, and it was the first release on that short-lived label.

The record was made with producer and composer Kramer, and it introduced guitarist Tom Guay, who left a real mark on the band's sound. It was also the first White Zombie release to pick up critical attention, which brought them to the notice of underground listeners. Soul-Crusher, their first studio album, followed the same year, so this EP is a handy way to hear the band's noise rock roots before they moved on to the bigger records of the 1990s.
