Tragic Serenades
Tragic Serenades is a Celtic Frost EP from 1986, issued by Noise International. It gathers three reworked versions of tracks from the Swiss band's earlier releases, so it works as a revisit of existing material rather than a set of new songs.
It sits between To Mega Therion (1985) and Into the Pandemonium (1987), two studio albums that show how quickly the band was moving at the time. For anyone tracing the group's black metal roots, it offers a chance to hear familiar songs given a fresh treatment during that busy stretch.
